Funny you should mention that! There is actually an R-Vision Site that has helped out on a few other issues I had with my trailer. Those guys ran out of Ideas on the whole brake issue so in between them and here at FTE it is now fixed! They have actually made some serious modifications to thier trailers to make them "the way they want them" It's really a nice site and the people there are just like here! I love modern technology!
The site is r-visioncamping.org. R-Vision makes the Trail Lite campers. Trail Bay, Bay Hauler, Max Lite, Trail Cruiser, ect. There are a bunch of helpful folks like there are here. If you do go over there and sign up let me know what your screen name is. My wife and I share one.
I may look into it, it sounds like a manufacturer though rather than a wide open RV'r site where I can get the low-down from people out there....
I would prefer a site where owners are bitching outright about problems they are having or found answers to. It would be less tailored to clean up anything a particular manufacturer was doing.
- In other words, a place where I can "THROW MYSELF INTO THE BRIAR PATCH"

You are correct about it being a manufacturer web site. It is not really a manufacturer but owners of that particular manufacturer. Have you checked out rv.net yet? They have all kinds of issues that pop up on different types of trailers. They have specific areas for 5er, TT's, pop ups, hybrids, ect.
It also has some pretty good info on winterization techniques as well as helpfull hints. Check them out also.
