More performance from my 5.0

Hi, I have a 1995 Ford F-150 XLT with the 5.0. I was wondering if anyone can tell me some simple things I can do to get more performance and horsepower. The engine is stock. I just had a catback Flowmaster dual exhaust put on. It sounds great. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd replace the y-pipe. After doing that, I noticed a huge improvement in power. I also put on an intake and headers, and that helped a bit. Just make sure the engine is in tune first, plugs, wires, cap + rotor.

Pull the 5.0 and swap with Conanski's 2.3. No seriously, a tune up will have a dramatic effect if your engine is out of tune. Me and my friend just put cap/rotor, plugs, and wires on his 1.6 Honda Civic and it went from not spinning the tires to spinning them pretty well. You could also get a code reader and see if there are any trouble codes. A bad sensor could kill your get up and go.
