help with swap

Hi guys, i'm lookin to do an engine swap here, i've got a complete 351M with c6 tranny and dual exhaust i'm pulling out of a 74 f150 4wd and i want to put it in my 83 f-250 4wd, It currently has a rundown 351W and c4 tranny(can't afford to rebuild it) I already converted my truck to the older DS 2 ignition system due to previous electrical problems so thats all taken care of. My question is whether or not you guys think the motor mounts and everything will line up right. It looks like it will just from eyeballing it, but i was hoping somebody who has done a similar swap could let me know for sure before i get started. Thanks for any info guys.

for starters, the 74 model year never came with a 351M. If you suspect the engine is original, you'll need to correctly identify it(not knocking on you, just we need to know for sure what it is), secondly, a 351M/400 with it's motor mounts will drop into an 83 F250 frame. You'll need to get an 82 f250's 400 fuel pump, though. Also if the C6 is from the 70's, you'll probably need to redo the shifter to get it to work(I believe the piece coming out of the tranny needs to be flipped 180). The tcase will bolt up, but driveshaft lengths may change with the tranny swap. I did the same engine swap from a 79 bronco into an 83 F250, but I used a 4 speed.
