suspension problem

I have an 03 F250 2wd with the 6.0 psd. This truck has 49,000 mi on it. I am not the orig. owner. Recently I have noticed on bumpy country roads if I hit significant pot hole the front end will shake violently repeatedly, along with the steering wheel. Sometimes it is so bad I have to nearly stop to alleviate the problem. I have talken the it to Ford and test drove the truck with a service guy, of course the truck drove perfect. Any ideas out there guys?

I need help with this problem. Should I take it to a good tire shop or back to the dealer?

Search for "death wobble". They pretty well discuss causes for pothole-induced wobble, from broken brackets to steering pumps and bearings to ball joints.

thanks bare bones. The truck is still under premium warranty. Should I take it back to Ford? I read about the death wobble, it seems to occur more with 4wd, my truck is 2wd.
