consistant problem

Well after 43,000 trouble free miles my 6.0 van has started acting up a bit..... seems after driving approx. 3 to 4 miles (first thing in the morning) the engine starts surging/bucking and puffing white smoke/black smoke with no power etc. after a few minutes it all seems to clear up and there are no more issues the rest of the day regardless of time sitting.

this is the 4th morning in a row this exact scenario has happened anyone have a similar experience or idea what it may be?

i have all the latest flashes

I would start with an sticking EGR valve.

Dealer warranty time. They will either clean or replace the turbo. I think it's like $100.00 ( don't quote me tho) deductable now you are over the standard 36,000 warranty.
