This question isnt regarding my 01 PSD, but rather a buddies 95. Ive got a thread in the 97 and earlier but i thought i would spread it out.
My friend was concern about some fuel he saw leaking from below. upon further inspection we found a large puddle of diesel sitting in the valley pan right below the turbo. Im not to framilar with all the mechanics of the psd, but what is back there that could be leaking. I looked back there with the engine running, expecting to see diesel spraying atleast but nothing.
Are the fuel return lines a low pressure, where they wouldnt cause an obvious spray? Are the fuel return lines even in this area.
I looked all around the fuel filter housing thinking that it probably had some thing to do with that but like i said i cant see where it could be coming from. any help would be great, Thanks.
wolfe1104 would this be the sargent 44 in 94-97 post with a puddle in the valley if not have look at the list, also i have a link in my post at narrowly escaped disaster in 1999-2003 page it is a powerstroke manual link it show a good brake down of the fuel syt. good luck
