I believe that Ford had a habit of changing part numbers of the same part as the model years went on.
Yes, the spring hood hinges that attach to the cowl and the side hood hinges that attach to the cab are all the same from 48-52.
It's the hood latches that are different. You can't use a 48-50 hood latch on a 51-52 truck and vice versa.
