I am ordering gauges in the morning and am having problems finding the link from yesterday. It was in a current post but now I can find it.
I found this deal at RPM http://www.rpmoutlet.com/powersst6.htm on the autometer kit. I was looking at the Z black on black series. This seems to be a good deal.
The link from yesterday took me to a sponsers site that had isopro gauges.
I'm looking for a DIY kit A pillar for less than $300 hopefully with a pre painted pillar. I would really like my pyro to have the yellow and red on it.
I bought the ISSPRO guages from Dieselmanor.com. It was $300 for the 3 guages and the A-pillar mounting kit. I think to have the mounting kit painted cost a few extra $. I would also suggest buying the drill/tap from them unless you already have one. The kit from Diesel Manor came with everything needed to install. All the wire ties, wires, connectors, etc. Their installation instructions were great and included color photos. Total install took about 5 hours with a beer break. You can check out their installation instructions on there website. Here is the link...
i have autometer in about 4 vehicles (totaling about 20 gages) and i will not get anyother guage other than autometer.
this is from their customer service, (getting parts replaced, due to my fault, at no cost) thier products, and the sheer ammounts of different styles of guages. i run all phantom but i just like the white face w/ the red lights.
I have the autometer z series and they look great in my truck, most non diesel/car enthusiasts think they are factory. I got them from www.puredieselpower.com for $300 with everything i needed and the painted pillar. Garrett was great to deal with, and he was a huge help when my pyro gauge wouldnt work, autometer had a bad batch of pyrometers. I would do business with them again no questions asked because of his great customer service.
I got Issopro gauges. Great setup. All wiring harnesses from senders to gauges no individual wires to hook up. Everything for $290. From www.kensperformancesolutions.com Easy to install. The only thing is that I am disappointed that the Turbo Gauge's lighting does not match the other gauges. It uses one big bulb instead of two like the other gauges. Other than that I really like um.

You can take the bulb out and use a permanent black marker to make a couple of stripes then the lights will match perfectly.
Apply your colored bulb covers to all of your gauge bulbs. The pyrometer and trans temp gauges use (2) T-5 size bulbs each. The boost gauge uses (1) size T-10 (shown here). If you find that your boost gauge is slightly brighter you can mark the bulb with a permenant colored marker as shown above. Just a few lines will do. Make sure you cover the area that the bulb cover doesn't cover. This is where white light can be emitted.
