New front end squeek

I discovered a new front end squeek. Its not the normal clunk that everyone has but its a squeek when i rock the front passenger side of the truck. Doesnt have to be running or anything. I just barely rock the front passenger side and a nice loud squeek erupts....its not coming from the shock but sounds like it might come from that small drop arm on the undercarrage....any ideas....i also have the infamous front end clunk from the suspension....what is that too?
Thanks..

Take a good look at your leaf springs (unless it is new and has the coil) they tend to develop squeaks. Look at the plastic shim thing to see if it is worn or missing.

Another place to look is the rubber bushing at the mounting points for the springs. The rubber bushings on my '01 would squeak like crazy especially when it was cold outside. When I swapped out the rubber bushings for urethane bushings the squeak dissappeared. Same thing for the rear, out with the rubber in with the urethane. All squeaks gone!
