I use evercoat primers .I will never ues any primer, filler, putty, or glazing putty that dosen't have a hardner that mixes with it . the problems you will have are srinking or swelling of the product

Evercoat makes good fillers. I don't think I used that particular glaze, don't use them often, I normally finish off my bodyfiller work well, and only use spot filler for small imperfections to fill. I don't think you can go too wrong with evercoat. That I believe would be a 2 part products, not the 1k spot putty jnk no good bodyman uses today. Glazes are normally thinner than spot puttys or fillers and are mainly for filling scratches and pinholes, not really for filling low area. The only big difference between different brands probably would be how easy they apply and sand, unless it is some real junk product. A glaze should do both pretty easily. They should be able to be used over sanded paint or primer where typical bodyfillers, most aren't recommended over anything but grinded metal or epoxy primer.

ok thank you very much i know my bodywork is pretty nice (still havent sprayed anything on it or wiped it with anythign shiny to see what it looks like (but im sure there might be very minor low spots and scratches that will need some glazing filler to apply. So i can apply this ontop of the sanded filler i already used? And yes you mix it just like you mix regular filler.
thanks,
jimmy
PS Did you say i will have shrinking problems with this filler? I know the stuff you dont use hardener with it shronks about 1/2 year later(found out hardway) plus that stuff takes forever to dry... I knew not to buy that crap again so this time i bought the evercoat withthe hardener you got to mix in with it.
thanks again!

Yes, it will most likely be thiner and smoother spreading then regular bodyfiller, but its okay to use over your sanded filler or primer.

Shouldn't be much of a problem with the 2 parts stuff that is mixed with hardener. Can't say they won't shrink any, but minor. Unless you really rush things, with 2k products and primers you shouldn't have too much of a problem. If you were using that 1 part spot putty junk in a tube though, then most likely spots you filled would show up after paint is on in little time. Ohh and one hint on those 2k spot puttys, don't know what it is about them, but most I've used set up a lot quicker then regular filler does, so don't use a ton of hardener if you need a little time to spread it on your spots. Enough that it will harden, but not a ton. But you'll find out about what you need after you do some spots. I hate seeing the stuff go to waste since they are more pricey then regular bodyfiller.
