fuel siphon
i'm a newbie on this site. anyway, does anyone know if fuel can be siphoned out of a '04 svt lightning's fuel tank? my girl almost filled up my truck with regular.
i was wondering if i could use a small-diameter clear hose to remove the fuel. however, i'm not sure if i could damage any internal parts such as, fuel indicator, etc.
thanx in advance for any info you guys can provide. lightnings rule!

Octane booster would work, if you had the room in your gas tank to add the proper amount of booster. And you can't use the STP type boosters you find at Kragens or Autozone. Those over the counter "octane boosters" are junk and don't work. You'd need a true octane booster like Torco.
All you need to do is jumper your fuel pumps and drain your tank through a shrader valve on your fuel rail. I have an instruction sheet with pictures saved to a word document if you'd like me to email it to you.
This is the method used to drain most of the 91 octane from my tank so race fuel can be used. Then after racing, the race fuel is pumped back out at the 91 octane is put back in. No more wasted race fuel.
Lemme know if you want the Word doc.
