Get a Big Cam, Port and polish the head, Get Ross High compression forged pistons, Get good ignition, Get a 4V or an 8V intake and whichever carb(s) work(s) best, Get a header, and there you go. There are some other things like Small block chevy valves, because they are bigger. But anything you can imagine doing to an 8 banger for more power works for a straight 6.

So this is a fantasy build.

Find a forged steel crank. Balance it.

Forged rods.

Custom HIGH compression pistons.

Wait for the Classic Inlines aluminium head and custom valves to be available and get them.

Schreider roller cam.

Probably would be a good idea to oring the block.

Wait for Mugnuson blower kit to be available. Currently in developement for SB6 for Classic Inlines. May not be produced for the BB6 though.

Probably will need a custom girdle for the mains.

Upgrade all fasteners!!!!

Decide if you want carb or fuel injection. Both when setup right will feed this beast.

This kind of combination probably won't be streetable. Nor is the rest of the drivetrain addressed. If done right you'll have a tire roasting engine that will run up to 7k! It is dependent on products that are "in developement" and won't be cheap.

Go to my "Gallery" to view the Specs for what I've done to mine to achieve 400FPT @ 3200RPM & 300HP @ 4600rpm.
Though you'll probably wish to to do some things a tick differently, such as & different Cam, as I went for the mild Milling Torque cam.

AH!! You mean that you have an "unlimited" budget!!

Seriously, that's what I thought you ment.

Your first question to answer is...what is the actual intent? Racing? Towing? OR trails? Crawling? Pulling? ??? Once that's known, then you can target the build.

Next, Who's doing the build? You? your shop? ???

Who's available in your area that does performance builds? Do they handle big block sixes?

You need to answer the question above before you decide anything else about the build. Different applications need different engine building tactics.

low end torque is what the 300 is all about!
I say turbo/ supercharger is a must for this kind of power.
