Lift kit suggestions
Does anybody have any recommendations about a good lift kit for my 94? I'm wanting to go with 3-4 inches so I can possibly squeeze some 35's underneath it. I want a quality kit that doesn't cost a fortune and is a fairly straight-forward install. That may be a tall order, but I figured that someone here has some experience in this realm. Thanks.

This topic has been touched on many many times. You might try a search of the forum for information as well. My personal recommendation is to look at Tuff Country because they have taken a good look at addressing the issues associated with lifting the Ford TTB (Twin Traction Beam) front suspension which is different from most conventional front end suspension. The single most common complaint from people attempting to lift trucks equipped with this suspension is getting the system properly aligned AFTER the lift is installed. Tuff Country has taken special consideration to making the process much simpler.
Don't forget to re-gear your axles if you end up with 35's under the truck.

Thanks for the thought out reply. That's what I was looking for since I could easily open a 4x4 magazine and blindly pick a kit and suffer miserably for it. I may pass on 35's as I really don't want to get into re-gearing. I've already got a project in the garage and don't think my better half would appreciate my new driver turning into my new project.
