The 04 and 06 lights are completely different and are not easily interchangeable.

It is an easy swap to go from the 2000 lights to the 03-04 jewelled lights though. Plug-n-play.

Welcome to FTE!

What I mean by Plug-n-play is that all yu have to do is pull the old lights out and put in the new ones. No wires to splice, no cutting, no fabrication, no nothing.

However, that is only with the 02-04 jewelled lights. Once you get into the 05+ lights you have changes to make that involve some cutting and such. If you do an 05 light conversion, might as well go all the way and slap on a whole new front end.

The 02-04 lights' plug is the same as your 2000.

Doug

www.Blackclouddiesel.com

If you truely want to run the 2005-2006, theirs is the easiest kit that I have seen. Not to badly price if you compare to the stealerships. Good luck

hey caddys83, off the subject but, your pics throw me off a little. first pics show no front hubs, no 4x4 selector on dash, and says 4x2 on the description. there are a couple of different excursions in your gallery, is yours 4x2 and the others 4x4?

When I wrote 4x2 meaning 4 wheels powered by 2 wheels (RWD)
Check this site out for the meaning of 4x2 http://www.4x4abc.com/4WD101/4x4.html
I do have 2 "other excursions" my gallery but I don't think they are inrelate to what you are asking. I'm thinking The pics below is what you are asking.

the update Excursions that you see on my gallery is the same Excursion

The old look

and the update... The front hub in the pics below is the same hub. I just update the rims to the newer Excursion "Limited" rims .The rim caps are different on the Limited rims. I did had to buy a pair of new center cap for the front. The rims originaly came from a 4X4 Excursion.

The front rim caps

Sorry for the off topic, here is the harness I bought from www.Blackclouddiesel.com for the plug-n-play harness for the update headlamps.
