valve stem seals
Hi All,
I have a question regarding valve stem seals. The seals that come in the gasket set I have purchased are umbrella shaped; however the seals that are currently in the head are pressed in. My question is, are the umbrella shaped seals a suitable replacement for the stock pressed in ones?

You need something that will grip the valve giude and stay in place, otherwise it's not much use. There should be a metal spring clip over the seal body that will hold it in place when temperatures rise and there's oil everywhere.... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
