I think they will fit with the 2" but might look a bit crammed. I'd go 3", it'll look better. I have 33" X-Terrains on my F150 with no lift and I think it looks ok, I think a 3" lift and it'll look great and then if I want I can upgrade to 35".
You'll love the X-Terrains if you haven't had a set yet. I love mine, definitely my favorite tire.
As far as problems go, maybe brake line extensions or just replace them altogether with some braided ones. I don't know exactly what else you'll need if anything, maybe try the suspension forum, I'm sure they can help in there.
