Regarding upgrading my brakes. The truck is a 2002, 2WD, short bed, double cab, V-10. I was hoping the F-350 brakers were bigger. I know I can get more aggresive rotors and pads but they also wear out faster. What do you think?
So, YES, the brakes are the same for the 2002 model year.
I recommend Powerslot rotors and Hawk brakes. They have worked GREAT for me...and they seem to be lasting longer. I suppose it all depends on the after-market brand you go with.
The application is the same, but unless you want to spend BIG bucks on a big brake upgrade the Powerslot cyro'ed rotors and Hawk LTS pads are the way to go. Reasonable price, waaaay better braking and no fade either. It's been the best NON HP mod I have done to my truck.
