Hi Guys, I am installing a lift kit on my 86 f250 4x4 6.9 and I have come across this valve on the rear end. Does anyone know what it is? I posted the diagram in my gallery under the unknown parts album.
thanks
Steve

Reason: add information
Thats a weight/height sensoring porportional valve for the rear brakes. The more weight in the bed the lower the valve sits hence the more brake power applied to the rears.

Really?!? That's pretty cool. I saw this under my truck and was wondering the same thing....
Guess it's pretty important to keep it working when you lift the truck or add overload springs, etc., huh?
