Finally got my website updated with photos of my fuel injector and adjustable fuel pressure regulator project. Just click on the "Fuel Injector Upgrade" on the right side of the page if interested. Check it out.
Niec looking Bronco. We don't see m/any that clean up here. Just a query though - didja check your valve lash while you had the covers off? If you did, where any out and if so, by how much? Thanks. I'm procrastinating about checking mine on the 89.
Spacer will work fine for SD. Many "advertised" benefits, mainly I was looking for some heat isolation for the upper intake and the improved clearance.
Does the additon of that spacer negate the need for that silly T-50 Torx bolt between the front and rear set of runners in the upper plenum? If it means you need longer hardware and you can get rid of it, it'd be worth the price of the spacer if only for that reason!
Grey, yup, no more #$%!@ Torx bolt. The spacer comes with the longer hardware you require except somebody forgot to tell Trick Flow that the truck intake does not use a really long bolt where the Torx bolt is. You will have to go to the hardware store and buy one bolt the same length as the rest of the bolts in the kit. With the spacer installed you can just reach under the intake and tighten up the hardware like regular folks, no prayers required, and a whole lot less cursing.
Where did you purchase yours at, I am having a tough time locating one.
Dave, Summit Racing, Part # TFS-5152006 for the 302 / TFS-5152004 for the 351. Just realized that I ordered the wrong part number way back when I did this and it fit perfectly. Probably because the junction between the upper and lower intake on the 351 and the 302 truck intakes are exactly the same. I guess somebody should tell Trick Flow about that one. The part lists for 63.95 as of about 15 minutes ago.
Thanks!, I never thought to look at Summit for Bronco stuff. I been researching all the 4wheeler sites for one.
What was the aluminum foil for around the spacer when you were installing it on the engine? I was curious about that. You have put a great deal of detail into that motor, great job!
Yay! No more Torx hardware that you cant' get ANYTHING to reach down in there! Engineers! Can't live with 'em, can't convince 'em they don't already know it all. (No offense to the engineers in the room).

Dave, just put the foil on to protect the fresh paint and new valve covers when I sprayed on permatex gasket sealant. Foil is great to protect against overspray, it will conform to any shape and stay there with no tape.
