The lift manufactuors suggest you use 7* c bushings and radius arm drop brackets for a 6" lift.
This is what I have on my 79 Bronco, and it works fine.
So if you need anything, it's just drop brackets, and not completly new radius arms, which can get pricey.
the reason i ask is cause i have extended radius arms, with heims on the end. but i will not have enough time to put them in before sep 30, and so i was just seeing if it would screw anything up while in the mud.
You should be fine. I actually want to get rid of my drop brackets, or at least cut them in about half, because they appear like they would be acceptable for 9" of lift. my arms actually take a slope downwards towards the back of the truck and i hate it. You'll be fine my friend, like the boys stated above.

No, you can get by without them, but if you intend to drive on the road alot, you might want to consider them, but some 7 degree c bushings should do the job.
My 78 appears to have had stock style bushings with a 9" coil....Never had a ujoint or axle problem...I beat the crap out of it in water mud and pavement....I went with a 12" lift and now have gone with 7degree bushings....I say your stock should be fine with the old or stock bushings....With the fixed radius arms..They dont move so if the caster and all that jazz is OK I think you will be fine....But they are cheap...Like $25 so it wouldnt hurt to buy another set at a different degree just in case.....
F1rocco-NY, I promise you your caster was off before, and now.
9" coils should have 7 degree bushing and drop brackets, so a 12" lift needs even more to correct it, not just bushings, more like extended radius arms.
It don't matter or make much of a difference off road, but if your not the road alot, you'll notice.
thanks for the help. i plan on installing my lift this weekend so i will see how it goes.. i bought the drop radius arm brackets and a drop pitman arm to help correct steering. the kit comes with brake relocating brackets and a trackbar relocating bracket coil springs and add a leafs. i got rancho 4" lift shocks all the way around to put on and a steering stabilizer from rancho. i have 33x12.5 tires on it. is there anything else you think i would need for this lift kit?
oh and it comes with U bolts and center pins and a 4 degree bushing kit
Nope, sounds like you got it covered, but after you've installed your lift, you might want to take a look at your brake lines, and if there isn't much room for play, then you can do two things:
1) Buy new SS extended brake lines(around $80)
2) Buy two 8" pieces of hard line, and get some couples to make them fit into what you have now.(around $10).
You might want to start spraying some of the bolts with some penatrating lube a couple times before you try taking them off.
Good luck.
