hi all, i am looking for a valid part number for just the glowplug relay(sits on top of the controller),so far i have only found the whole controller at $179.00 i just need the relay tho,any help would be awsome .P.S> p/n and what store is it good at.(napa,autozone...ect)
Print this page from their website and take it with you. They'll match the web price - otherwise they'll charge you $25 for it - that's the in-store price.....
If yours is a different year you'll have to look it up on their site for yourself
sorry, about the truck info i filled out the info under the user cp thought it would show up the post ...but its a 1994 n/a 7.3l f350 daully, thanks for the reply

No problem. I just punched your truck info into their site and it came up with the same part #.
Print that web page and take it to your local Schucks/Checker/Kragen with $16 and you'll be all set......
[QUOTE=PLC7.3]For $16 your probably getting a standard starter relay not the HD relay required. Get the #s off the one on your controller and cross ref it.
Ummm, that one looks just like the one I linked - and both of them look just like the one I took off my truck.
I searched a couple of parts sites - Partsamerica and Napa - and found a $16 one and a couple of others on each site in the $25-$35 range, and every one was a different brand. If it were the wrong part (a starter relay) I'd think there would be two different ones of the same brand - one cheap and one expensive - wouldn't you?
In fact, [/b]this one [/b]was $25 (in store price), it was only discounted online. I may be wrong, and if I am I'll be replacing it and eating some crow soon. But I've found that parts prices can and do vary TREMENDOUSLY from brand to brand, and the old "you get what you pay for" adage isn't always the case. A lot of times you just OVER pay for a brand name......

WOW! $73.23! Why? NapaOnline also offers one made by MPE that is only $16.
not sure cheaper this one was $73 from napa (the only parts store for about 45 min drive i live in the swamp).but thats what it was, still looks more like the old starter relay than any thing else.but the new accelerator cable is installed and shes running fine again.acc.cable was only $16 lol
