Not unless I leave the hood open? Actually its hard to say since you don't push it as hard in the rain, except for those corners that HAVE to be powerslided around
the only performance difference is the lack of rear tire grip. if i would drive the same way in the rain i would need to use 4x4. it is a pain driving in the rain when you arent TRYING to screw around. like coming out of town and the speed limit changes to 55 so you give it some pedal in 3rd gear and somehow break the tires loose.
I've noticed that in overdrive at 50 mph it doesn't have the same acceleration when the weather is dry, it is actually really bad. When I get up to about 60 mph then the rate of acceleration gets normal.

I completely agree. I've almost come to believe that my truck has a personality - on especially humid or rainy days it seems sluggish, on crisp/cold/clear days it seems like it wants to run. My wife thinks I'm stupid.
I think your wife is related to mine. My wife thinks I am stupid as well, and yet she bought me a shirt and hat saying "A Man and His Truck, Its A Beautiful Thing."

I forgot, I am wondering if the electrical connector on the side of the transmission is getting water in there and causing the torque converter not to operate properly.
