I would like to replace my stock headlights on my f350 with a pair of projector lights.
But i've heard that there are some that you buy that fade or turn yellow.
Any suggestions?
Hmm. I posted almost the same thing the other day and didnt get an overwhelming response, so I just delved into internet research. I don't know about the fading but I did find that auto parts warehouse (I think they're even linked here at FTE) has a decent selection and at least one makes some clear headlamps as well as the running light bar and turn signal that straddle it.
And I was told, at least, that no special wiring harness is necessary, that it plugs into the same plug that the old one comes out of. We'll find out shortly.
APC makes a projector setup for the SD... But in my experience their quality has been mediocre at best.
I've also seen a company... don't have the link... that will take your stock housings and modify them with a luxury car (Benz, bmw lexus etc) projector HID setup. That's about all I know in regards to that... been awhile since I was looking.
I finally settled with the '03+ style headlights with the Sylvania SilverStars. Pics in my gallery.
I have the APC projector lights with the Sylvania Silverstars, I have had no problems with the projectors at all. It looks great, the lights are kind of expensive. JMO
