Automatic transmission
I want to buy a Ford F-150 XL with an inline 6 cyl. engine. I do not need a 4x4. Has anybody seen a 89' to 95' 4x2 regular cab with an optional automatic transmission? I have only located 4x4's with the option. Also, what is the difference in a fleet or work truck package and a standard package?

"Fleet" or "Work" models lacked a standard spare tire, rear bumper and radio. These were options. "Custom" included these items. You still got plain painted steel rims, vinyl upholstry and a black rubber floor. Most true fleet trucks I have seen have automatics because most employees of companies can't drive a stick anymore.

Automatic transmission
My Uncle has a 92 F250 super cab short box 300 6 with an automatic and it is a 2 wheel drive. this is the only one I have ever seen so I imagine they are pretty rare but they were offered.
