Should I paint flames on my truck? I know how to paint and I'm planing once I fix all the rust and dents I'm going to paint the truck in base/clear so it's the perfect time to do flames.
My wife wants me to put the head of an Arabian horse on the tailgate of our truck, painted in bronze and gold flames. (The truck is metallic root beer brown, and rust too of course.) I think her artistic vision may be greater than my spray painting skills. We'll see.
I like your Photoshop mock-up. As far as I'm concerned, we need more fun paint jobs on cars and trucks. Go for it!
primer black and flames good....For the area you flamed on your truck with photoshop, I would make the flames smaller and longer, and more of them...if you get what I mean....same area covered, more of smaller and longer flames. Chop that up, I dont know how to chop flames, only wheels n stuff.
That looks cool too. I know that I want to keep below the upper body line and I only want to do the fenders and doors. It's alot easier on the truck, I'm only so good with photoshop. I've decided to do, but I've still got some dents and rust to fix. It's not a huge priority, but I'm hoping within the next month or two.
