Lean Codes Please Help

Here it is guys:

I have a 2001 f-150 with the v-6 engine. I am getting the p0171 and p0174 codes (system lean) and here is what I have done. I have a new MAF sensor, a new DFPE sensor, new o2 sensors, new PCV valve and lines and a new EGR. I finally took it to a mechanic and they said it was the intake gaskets. I just finished replacing the upper intake gaskets. The code came back again what is left to do. Please help.

My 2000 van does the same thing. I figured that my intake gaskets were leaking also because I have some small oil leaks. If it is coming up lean it sound like it would have to have some type of vacuum leak (exttra air getting into the intake) after the throttle body to cause a lean condition. I have not replaced my gaskets yet but was planning on it soon. Our son has the exact same van and it has the same code and problem also. Must be some kind of problem with the v6 design.

Here' one thread from a diff forum here at FTE:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...171-p0174.html
maybe it will help.
You can search all of FTE using "p0171" and you find quite a few threads.

Seems common causes are fuel pump, fuel injectors or vacuum leak.
