My First Problem 05 escape
hey all, its been a while since i posted, but now i have a problem.
I have an 05 Escape 4 cyl 5 speed with now 64k miles. never had a problem, even with my rotors, until now. i have a check engine light coming on and going off intermittently(every couple days). and now truck has stalled maybe 4 times in last month, restarts immediately, doesn't stall again for days. going to get code checked this week, but was wondering if anyone else has had this. engine running smooth, replaced plugs just in case. is it this egr problem i have been reading about?

IAS typically doesn't set a CHECK ENGINE light.. unless the vehicle idle dips low enough the engine actually stops running (to make light come on).
I'd take it to get it scanned for codes (Autozone will usually do so for free).. let us know what codes are stored.
