Window channels
I am looking to replace my window channels and rattlers (sp) in my 61. Anyone have any experience with this??? I have looked at various vendors, this is not a cheap project due to the "step" at the window opening on the door. I hate to say this, but... how about "generic" pieces, like Whitney (I really did hate to say that!!), or others?? Any advice/ridicule accepted..

Go with the real deal. Rick at Carolina Classics can help with advice for putting them in, becuse he builds his own trucks. 800-682-4211 and quite well I moght add.

Nathan, you posted at the same time that I did. The Carpenter and CC parts are the same. I recomend CC because Rick is in Durham, and a heckaofa nice guy.

I spent $150.00 for the complete kit from Obsolete Ford Parts in Oklahoma City. It included the rubber seals for the vent windows. It is a pretty good job to remove the window tracks, install new kit and re-install. If you haven't done this before you should consider get help.
