AFR's and Valvetrain questions

AFR's and Valvetrain questions
While the engine is at the shop i'm trying to get an idea of what i'm going to need. i'm getting AFR 180cc heads for my 393, for stud mount rockers. I purchased hardened pushrods for my last set of heads (windsor jr's), stock length. So my question is, would these pushrods will work with the AFR's. I'm hoping someone else has run this combo and could give me some insight.

Valvetrain Geometry
Pushrod length is determined by so many different factors, it's impossible to say. Different brands of heads have different deck thicknesses. Rocker boss heights. Installed spring heights. Rocker arm brands. Valve tip height. Has the block been decked? It's all in the geometry as to whether those pushrods will work. They may be close, but I'd bet not. For the best valvetrain geometry explanation I've ever read, go to www.mid-lift.com. It takes a while to read it all, but I came away with a better appreciation for what the correct pushrod length can mean. Some really good history about him, Lunati, Comp, and others. I'm using his roller rockers in my 347- really quality pieces.
