Need a inline transmission temp sending unit
i want to install a trans temp guage in my 2002 expy, however i do not want to drop the trans pan and weld a sending unit on the pan and reinstall, i read on line that it is better to know the temp coming out of the transmission on the way to the cooler rather than knowing the temp of the fuild in the pan anyway. but i seem t be having a problem with finding a sending unit for my truck. i found the gauge @ www.jegs.com part number 280-A021E161N. I have a 2002 XLT expy 2wd. any help would be great thanks
