I would think not as the 73-76 bronc was still the small body. You would need to find a 77-79 large body.

parts from a 76 to 79 F150 4X4 will work.Use steering linkage from 78-79. I'm 3/4 of the way done with my conversion. In fact, I should be out there now, not pouring over these boards and drinking coffee.

James, I am going all out with my conversion. I dumped the hydraulic assist and drum brake setup, and virtually replaced from the knuckles out. I used all parts from a 78-79 f150, knuckles, cal mounts, dust shields, spindles, etc.
Plumbed in the proper master cyl and proportioning valve, and all new brake lines and hoses.
Took a integral P/S box from a 78, and made a plate to sandwich inbetween the new box and the frame, it curves abay some, so I wanted a flat surface.
Some guys just mount the box in the (somewhat) stock location, pitman facing rearward, re-gear the box and call it good,(which works just fine and is much less involved than what I did) but I mounted mine as close to the location for a 78 as possible, pitman arm forward. I used Jeffs Bronco Graveyards adjustable draglink steering linkage setup. Wanted the drag link adjustable, as I didnt know exactly how the placement of the box was, so I needed some room for adjustability. I also had to relocate my oil filter to clear the box. I was able to start the truck and pressurise everything yesterday, and other than some minor fuel issues ( re-did all the lines from the tank forward with aluminum tubing, and AN-6 fittings- bling and function!!) all is right as it should be.
I will be posting pics in my gallery in the next couple of days, so that also may clear up some questions.

I also DID NOT have a donor truck, and had a hard time finding a few parts, and went with new parts as much as possible, so far my total bill is an ASTRONOMICAL 2700.00.... and I'm a mechanic, getting parts at cost.

There are a few good tech articles on this site, read them through! I took the best ideas, added a few of my own, and should be done soon!!!

BTW, be careful with emails in posts, would hate for a troll to start bombing you!!. I am setup to recieve any new post notices here, so any questions, just post up and I'll be glad to help out!!

For that matter, welcome to FTE, and we are all willing to help!!
