Wheel finishes
I was looking on ebay at a set of wheels for my truck and came across a set of American Eagle Alloys model number 186. They have a what they call a super finish on them. Is that just another type of polishing? I was wanting a set of wheels that I don't have to polish every month. I would like to just be able to wash the wheels and be done with it. I know that the factory wheels that I have has a clear coat on the wheels. Would it be okay to spray a clear coat that is made for wheels on this type of finish? What is the widest size of tire that will fit on 16x8's?

Thanks for the info on the mod I couldn't get and e-mail to you too many links or something so up here in canada we use Baldwin filters and they have a pa2818 mod I've ordered one from work It will be here in a week pretty cheap 28.00 bucks I have a 4" intake from work so I'll talk to you in aweek thanks agian Herman2001

I would guess that the "super finish" is the same as a polished finished with a coating. You won't want to go with a tire much wider than 12.5"/315mm on an 8" rim.
