Same truck, same problem

Must be catching mine went out last month. I have all the mounting screws off but are unable to pull the speaker as it seems "mounted" internally and mere spins. Any suggestions would help both of us. Thanks in advance.

You need to pull the enclosure out completely to be able to get the subwoofer out. The reason being is that there's a bolt threaded into the magnet of the sub. HTH.

Search for sub woofer removal, there is a ton of info. I was able to do it quite easily following the directions. You do have to disassemble most of the back but its easy, be patient. Well worth the effort.

Replaced mine this past summer. Not a big deal. Even though I thought it would be.

I removed the rear interior panel to expose the speaker and it's enclosure. I remember unscrewing the tabs at the rear of the interior panel that are there for the storage net, and unscrewing the seat belt with a torx head. Like I said no big deal. The panel just pops out of it's holding clips, just be careful not to rip and tear as your poping these out.

Removed the speaker enclosure (piece of cake) and took it to a local stereo shop where the guy installed a new speaker for me.

Put it all back together.
