installing led lights...any tips

i got my clear roof lights...clear turn signals...smoked 3rd brake light and 60" line of fire tailgate light...any tips on how and methods of installing...i know its pretty straight forward but the turn signals seem a little tricky...and the tailgate light...is there a technique to getting the tailgate light perfectley straight with out going back and forth and eying it up?

I got the 3rd brake light from RECON and installed it. They recommended putting some silicone calking around the gasket before installing..

I installed the Line of fire lights also bymeasuring the distance and marking it. The back of the bed is slightly curved so I had to turn the Tape mounts slightly to get them to stay. They didn't last very long before all I had was 1 tape mount holding everything on.

What I did was remove the tape mount screw and used that as a guide to drill a hole in the metal. Then I installed a Stainless screw and coated it with Liquid electrical tape to try and minimize rust..

There are 5 Tape mounts. I recommend drilling and putting a stainless screw on the end and middle mounts. If you do that it will never fall off...

Just my 2 cents.. Maybe where you live the tape will hold better but I doubt it.. You can always add the screws later like I did....

Yes. That is what Recon Recommended. I think it does not fit as snug as the OEM light.
