hello fomoco bros,i swapped my 4 speed for a c6 in my 77 f250 4x4.i need to know which cross member to use..i got all the gear from a 79.drive lines and all will it work ? it seems to all bolt up except the trans cross member, as i now have a married t/c.i need to get back to work.please contact me asap.i need to get to work soon.

you will need the crossmember from the 79 tranny because it has a dropped area for the front drive shaft and you will probably have to drill new holes for it the drive shaft will probablt be a costom job unless you put the high pinion front axle in
I would bolt the 79 crossmember to the trans ion the truck, then see where it sits in the framerails. That is more than likely where you will need it to be. As plow said, the d-shaft may be a bit tricky. I'm assuming you have an early 77 cuz you said you NOW have a married t-case setup. The low pinion front end your truck has may make the d-shaft hit the crossmember. You might have to notch it out.
