10.25" Brake dissasembly.
So I've serviced many a drum-brake but never a 10.25" Pretty much everything looks standard except for the pin at the top that so much of the hardware connects too. It appears to have something strange going on. I take it that it is threaded into the housing? You just grab the large washer-type-thing with pliars/visegrips and unscrew it then or what? I need to replace the adjuster's cable and I don't see anyway to do it without removing what appears to be a large washer on the end of the pin.

If I remember correctly, the only thing holding the shoes to the centering pin on top is the springs. Once you unhook the springs, they should come off. The adjuster cable (I think) is just hooked into the shoe.
