3 on the tree question
Im not sure where to post this its already in the FE forum but here goes anyway....Im trying to set the linkage for the 3 on th tree in my 76 F-150 and I am getting nowhere quick....does anyone have any pointers on making the adjustment any easier? I cant seem to find the right spot...lol

in the engine compartment where the linkage comes out of the steering column there will be a hole in each shaft. insert a 1/8 drill bit in the to line them up. then get under ur truck and where the linkage hooks to the tranny loosen the blots and move the tranny levers to the center postion then retighten the nuts. that should have everything lined up/
