emissions

does anybody here live in missouri and know about emissions laws? i have a f-150 with either two cats or a cat and a resonator and was wondering what i could take off.

You can remove a resonator regardless of where you live. It does not affect emissions.

how can i tell which is the resonator do i have to take it off and look inside or what?

a cat will look kinda like a honeycomb inside if i had to guess i'd say they are both cats. thats how my 91 Bronco was. same with my 94 f150

Wher are each of these located?
A resonator would be back by the muffler.

A pre-cat is close to the exhaust manifold, and the main cat would be a bit downstream from this.

one is located about 16 - 18 inches behind where my maniflods come together and the other is 18 inches behind that and my muffler is 18 inches behind the second cat resonator whateverit is. can i take off one if they are both cats?
