I have a 2004 F150 5.4L with 32,000 miles. I bought it 2 months ago. It runs great, has all kinds of power compared to the 1997 with 4.6 L I also have. It almost sounds similiar to a diesel when I am taking off from idle. Maybe its just me, or maybe its because I am used to the 4.6L? Is the 5.4 typically noiser than the older 4.6L's? I am kind of concerned since I am getting close to the 36,000 mile cutoff for warranty. Any one have any ideas, or experienced the same thing?
