89' 460 w/odd noise
I'm selling my Cherokee to buy a Blue Oval. I'm in the market for a 88-96 F250 XLT extcab with longbed. Today's truck was equipped with a 460 AT. When turning off the vehicle an odd noise would come from the engine compartment. The noise was slightly towards the driver's side near the firewall. It may have been a buzzing or some sort of leak. Per the second owner, the F250 has 77k original miles. However, it's been painted. I'm thinking closer to 177k. Any clue as to what the noise may have been?
