I have a 46 ford cab that i am planning on putting on a donor truck? Does anyone heard of anyone putting such a cab on a newer ford truck frame? Also, why does everyone like the mustang II front end? I have heard many people talk about it but have never heard why. I am about to weld in a new floor for the cab and I am looking for a donor truck at this time. Would like to hear what kind of truck is recommended.

 

mustanng II is very popular becase it is compact package and self contained and uses rack and pinion

 

I have seen a 47 cab mounted on a 1975 Blazer. That was several years ago and I believe that the truck has since been sold. In any event, I haven't seen it around lately. I never did get a close look at it so I'm not sure what modifications had to be made but it looked good on the road. It had a wooden stake body and the Chev had an automatic transmission.
