cam question

i was woundering what max lift i could use on a stock 460 springs

I use .500 as a baseline, I know you can get away with a little more but thats a good safe round number to use.

is that enought of a lift to make a differance than the stock one

duration makes more difference than lift, but lift helps too, will it make a difference yeah it will, will it be a lot no probably not. better and new valve springs aren't that expensive and can be changed with the heads on the motor.
