I have a 1992 ford F-150 ex cab 2wd with the inline six and the 5 speed manual with 3.08 gears. here is my question: Does anyone know of a company that makes a kit to convert my 5 speed manual to a 5 speed auto or if it is even possible and how much it would cost any help would be great

I don't think the 5spd manual box can be converted into a 5spd auto. Your best bet from there is to find an E4OD and the appropriate computer (as the manual one won't work for the E4OD) and you should be good.
The auto tranny can be found in any F-150-250-350 up till 97 that will have the correct bellhousing bolt pattern.
