I currently have a Diablo predator on my 2004 6.0 f250. I am about to put on 35" tires and a 4" lift. I was told that I need to recalibrate the speedo for the antilock brakes and fuel mixes to work properly. Is there a tuner that will not only amp up my truck but recalibrate the speedo for the larger tires?
Thanks,
Tone
Most tuners will recalibrate your transmission for tire size, and get your speedo closer. I have found that you must input the gear ratio, or your vss tables will not be modified. ABS will take care of itself, as long as the front and rear tires are close in size. A/F doesn't need to know your tire size.
Yes there are. I think most of them do. I know Superchips does. Not sure how it will work with the Diablo Predator though but I am sure someone else will.
Instead of spending $250 for a true speed speedometer calibrater, and have a predator to tune the truck, I would rather spend a little more to get a decent device to do both.
