I found a 1979 F-250 automatic 2 wheel drive with a 351 in it. It either has 79k or 179k miles and needs some help. It runs, has good tires. the cab isn't in that bad of shape. It will need 1 door panel and thats about it. The interior has seen better days and would need redone as well. The bed is shot and if I buy it I'd build a flatbed for it. Tranny fluid isn't burnt and is relatively red. It has power steering, newer battery, new distributor, plugs, and wires. I'm going back to look at it again tomorrow and if I notice anything else I'll post it. I'm looking for something for my first restoration and this looks like a good candidate. The frame is in good shape. I want something relatively easy to work on and something that after I'm done with I can drive, not just look at or sell. He wants $695 O.B.O. What do you think I should offer? Thank you all for your input.

Try $500 but for that price ya don't want to **** him off, after all it does sound like a decent deal. What I would do is ask him if he wants to get a few things fixed on it then you will take it for full price and if he says no then say okay well how does $### sound? Good Luck to ya incase you haven't gotten it yet. This would be a great project truck as well
