nlemerise,
Hey thanks for the intel! Great stuff. I think my wife has her heart set on hookups. Oh well. Call me whooped.
Some of the other folks might want to do that one though. Looks like a real nice spot to camp. I'll work on the wife.
Are you going to the mud bogs? Are you going to show up for the Chapter Meet?
Hope to see ya there. I'll buy ya a beer.
Tim

Probably not...I am usually out mining turquoise or rockhounding. If I can make it I will and I'll take you up on your offer ! On yeah, hookups? This is Nevada - we don't have no stinkin' hookups!
. . . I am usually out mining turquoise or rockhounding.. . . !
Please try, and bring some samples of your turquoise and other neat rocks, plus be prepaired to show the best places on a map - I want to interview you for a western chapter newsletter.
I see that you are not a member of the Nevada Chapter, nor even the California one. You should join the Nevada one - - -
I will have my laptop if you want to bring some electronic pictures . . .

Come on out and teach your fellow FTE folks about rockhounding in Nevada!! That would be reall interesting. Bring some sample of your rocks too.
Na, olford, he is just going to bring the vehicle. All of us are going to enter it, and draw lots to see who gets to drive it!
Wouldn't be fair for 05XLT to hog all the fun! He gets to drive it there, and maybe even back to LV - only fair the rest of us have a chance to drive it in the mud.
Yeah Willyb, we could decorate his rental like one of those weird "burning man" trucks and really catch some attention. Kinda like the circus clown in a rodeo. Haaa LOL.
I'm just glad the chapter leader is doing what he can to show for the first chapter meet.

I will if I can get away...my partner and I are pretty serious turqouise miners and we have three claims that we work pretty hard. He can't get away as easy as I can, so I have to go when he can get away. If I show up I'll bring some nice rocks to look at. Here is a picture of a vein on one of our claims, some of the turqouise, and a piece of wonderstone.
Also someone mentioned that I am not a member fo the chapter... I am from the same school as W.C. Fields: "I would never join a group that would have me as a member!"

30 miles northeast of Sparks...actually this is pretty close in for Nevada. Where I am going today to mine is out there...about 50 miles northeast of Tonopah (the garden spot of America).
