Kelly the shoulder notches have worn down. I have the problem on two of my trucks. New bezels cost too much for me to replace them.

Hello there:
As John said it is the ign sw bezel notches. I had to make me a new metal plate with notches I made myself by transfering the notches dimentions on that metal plate and weld it on its place on dash. The bezel coast around $14.
