block heater

im looking for a block heater for a 83 f250 4x4 with the l6 anyone got a part number. basicly never really looked into them before. anything i should know before buying one?

Years ago (circa 1970) when I had crews working in Michigan upper penensula I had heaters installed in the lower radiator hoses on all our vehicles. Quick, easy installation and they worked great. Heated both the radiator and block. Also put in battery heaters. I think everything we needed came from a NAPA store.
