Towing Specs
I've got an 02 Explorer XLT with the 4.0 SOHC. Wondering if anyone knows the towing capacity and tongue weight. I will upgrade the hitch to a class III so don't worry about the hitch set up.
I'm also only looking to tow a very short distance (no hwy driving or anything). This will be a 5 to 10 minute drive max (although up hill).

Actually, it's around 3500# if you have the small Class II 1 1/4" receiver, which means you don't have the tow package (no 3.73 LS rear gears, no oil cooler for the V6).
