overheated muffler
I have a 1985 F-150 with a 300 CI engine. For some time now it appears that the muffler gets very hot. There are spots where the galvanized metal may have been red hot as there is a definite color change in spots. Also, the tail pipe gets extremly hot. Anyone have similar problems or know what is causing the condition I see?
